How to enable outsourced data teams to enter data into Datograde

How to collect data at scale

  • There are numerous options to collect data. Datograde is launching a new marketplace soon to integrate with major data labelling and offshoring providers.
  • Invite these teams onto your Datograde account with an Editor role.

Adding editors to a collection

Let’s say you already have a Collection that represents products in your catalog. You would like a new team of interns to start reviewing the entries, spot and fix issues.

  1. Go to AccountUsers
  2. Click Invite Users.
  3. Enter the email addresses of your interns to send out Datograde invites to them.
  4. Set their roles to be Editor.
  5. Every one of your interns will get an email with instructions on how they can sign up to Datograde and join your organisation. They will not be able to see anything until you give them permission.

Starting a new task

  1. Navigate to your Collection.
  2. Click the Tasks tab.
  3. Click New Task, and select either an Entry task or a Review task.

Configuring an Entry task

  1. If you selected Entry, you then have to pick the Fields that needs to be entered.
  2. Optionally, you can set a target. This displays a counter for the Editor to track how many entries they have created against a set target.
  3. Add instructions to your task.
  4. Add your Editors, that you’ve invited into your organisation in the previous steps, to complete this task.
  5. Click Launch Task to create this task.

Your editors will then receive an email notifying that there is a new task for them. Clicking the link in the email will direct them to Datograde’s Form tool to start filling in data.
